I always have the impression that most authors out there really dislike getting a 3-star rating for their books. Of course, I can definitely understand that bad ratings can sink a novel's reputation, but a 3-star rating is NOT a bad thing.
I for one when I think about the rating a book deserve, go about it by considering how that book made me feel. 5 stars usually means that that book is a book that I will probably be talking about it for a long time and recommending it to everyone.
4 stars means that I throughly enjoyed the book, I definitely think you should take notice of it and it only did not get 5 stars because of some minor flaw.
3 stars in NO instance means it is a poorly done book, for me at least, it means it was a great book that, yes, did have some flaws, but overall it entertained me.
What about YOU! What does a 3-Star Rating mean yo you when you are checking a book out or planning to read it?
