You MUST visit the Strand bookstore while you're there. And there's an awesome gelato place, too. They're expensive, but they have a million free samples. They're called Screme` and they're attached to the wax museum, Madame Tusodes. (Another place to visit.)

Another fun bookstore is Kinokuniya which is across the street from Bryant Park. It is a Japanese bookstore but a lot of books are in English and there are a ton of cute gift items.

I almost signed up for that AAD conference, but I was too late. Oh well.

I live about an hour from NYC and 40 minutes from Newburgh. I have a spreadsheet of restaurants, but what I can think off the top of my head is frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity's on the East Side.

I couldn't find your e-mail, to send you the spreadsheet so e-mail me at midnytereader@gmail.com. I would love to meet with you if scheduling works out on both ends, but if not, I know you will have a wonderful time!

Ok, kicking myself. I thought the AAD was the same weekend as my college reunion. But it's not, I'm so mad for not checking the dates.

I miss NYC so much. I was there at the end of April visiting a bunch of SVM FF girls. It's so beautiful.

You have to go to Tea and Sympathy http://www.teaandsympathynewyork.com/home.php trust me it's a must. And Babouche in Brooklyn http://www.babouchenyc.com/. Oh and have ice cream at Il Laboratorio del Gelato http://www.laboratoriodelgelato.com/
