I got hooked on shifters years ago with the Cheysuli, and have really enjoyed the resurgence of stories more recently. About rich vs poor paranormals, I suspect it would be rather hard to be immortal and not be able to amass some wealth--after all, they keep telling us that 'just hang in there' is a good way to make money on the stock market!

Gabriella, thanks on Dreaming of the Wolf. :) I'm still waiting to see what my editor says about Heart of the Highland Wolf and Dreaming of the Wolf...*sigh*...but I'm working feverishly on seducing a SEAL right now. I'm always amazed to read how authors get their inspiration. Things that I would never think twice about end up becoming whole books. I'll have to check out Heart of a Highland Wolf - it does seem like paranormal characters are always well off, so that would be a different twist.
